Saltronix, Inc. had it’s beginning in November of 1992 in a garage in Odessa, Texas, USA. Sal Velasquez, president of Saltronix, Inc., originally began his company repairing consumer electronics, anything from audio and video equipment to toaster ovens. From the beginning, excellence was Sal’s goal; excellence in quality of his work and excellence in service to his customers. These high standards are what made it possible for Sal to move his business out of his garage and into a small building of 325 sq. ft. approximately eight months later.

Since Sal had repaired industrial electronics previous to starting up his own business in consumer electronics repair, he found that his love for the field of industrial electronics continued within him. So, little by little, he made a slow transition into that field. This transition proved to be very good for the company. The result was that the business out-grew the small 325 sq. ft. building and Sal was forced to buy what is now the company’s permanent facility of over 5,000 sq. ft.

By the start of the 21st century, Sal had his business incorporated. Continuing to realize his goal of excellence, he has concentrated his efforts in building up not only the company itself but the confidence that his customers have in it. Within the first seven years of it’s existence the company had gone from nothing to possessing a State of the Art Metrology Lab where computerized calibrations and certifications of your valued instrumentation take place. Our company has been able to keep up with constantly progressing industry standards in a short period of time, unlike other local companies which have been in existence much longer. To the best of our knowledge, no other company in the Permian Basin has the capabilities that Saltronix, Inc has. We take pride in these facts. Our goals and values have not changed, but are to continue in excellence in quality of our work and to better serve you, our customers.
