Thank you for visiting our site. The following is to inform you of Saltronix, Inc company policies. Saltronix reserves the right to make changes to it's company policies at any time. Concerning Your Instrumentation Concerning Your Instrumentation Saltronix is not responsible for the loss of equipment or services due to theft, vandalism, storms, fire, flood, natural or man-made disaster, riots, terrorism, civil commotion or unrest, structural damage, interference by civil, military or any other governmental authorities, acts of war (declared or undeclared), telecommunications failure, failure of energy sources, or any other matter which would reasonably be outside of our control. Our facility is secured by means of an alarm system and is monitored 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. We are also located within 3 blocks of our local law enforcement agency. Instruments receiving services, which are left at our office without payment for over 45 days after date of invoicing and notification of customer, will be sold to compensate for work performed. Any unrepaired instrument, which is left for over 180 days after customer has been notified of estimate of services or to pick up the unit, will be sold or disposed of. As of March 3, 2008, Saltronix, Inc. has ceased to provide partial repairs on any equipment received at our office. Due to safety and liability reasons, we are obligated to perform full service maintenance and repair on all equipment which comes to our facility for service. This assures that your equipment leaves our facility thoroughly inspected, repaired and ready to safely accomplish any task in which the original manufacturer intended when your item was first produced. All instruments we receive in our office are serviced in the order in which they are received. Requests for rush jobs are subject to a next in line charge of $75.00. Please note, rush job requests are also fulfilled in the order in which they are received but are given priority. A $55.00 Service Diagnostic fee applies to all instruments sent in to our office for evaluation. This fee is waived if we receive approval by the customer to proceed with services on an instrument. We accept Visa, MasterCard, Checks and also offer NET 30 day accounts to businesses with approved credit. All Freight costs are to be borne by the customer. Concerning shipments of equipment from our facility to the customer, customer must specify 1) the method of UPS shipping and 2) the amount of shipping insurance desired on any parcel. This is possible via the forms available on our downloads page for orders or services obtained through us. Otherwise, item(s) will be shipped UPS Ground and will be insured at our discretion to guarantee coverage of your equipment during shipment. All estimates and quotations are valid for 30 days from date given. Please keep in mind that this service is offered strictly as an estimation of costs expected. Price may vary slightly. Clerical errors on any estimate or quotation are subject to correction. A $55.00 Service Diagnostic fee applies to all instruments sent in to our office for evaluation. This fee is waived if we receive approval by the customer to proceed with services on an instrument. We do offer a 90 Day Warranty on all repairs performed. This 90 day period begins from the date of invoice. During this period, if any defect in material or workmanship is found under normal use, excepting normal wear and tear and any alteration or modification to the item which has received repair service, we will service free of labor charges though parts needed for additional service will be extra. Please note, we cannot offer warranty on items in which seal tapes, calibration/repair stickers, and calibration void stickers have been tampered with, broken, or removed. No other warranty is expressed or implied. By taking advantage of our services, you demonstrate your acceptance of these policies. These policies are also posted as notices in our office or expressed on our forms such as invoices, estimates, workorders, etc. |
